What is the Application Timeline and Important Application Deadlines?
Applications for the AURORA QUEST K-8 SCHOOL ARE NOW CLOSED for the 2025-2026 School Year. Applications will open for the 2026-2027 school year on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Important Dates & Deadlines
- Friday, November 1, 2024: Applications for the 2025-2026 school year become available online.
- Friday, December 20, 2024 at 5:00 PM: Grades K-8 Online Applications due.
Any hardcopy applications for grades K-8 are due to the APS Office of Advanced Academics and Gifted Services, by 4:00 p.m on 12/20/24. Applications turned in after the deadline will be placed on the application waitlist.
Cognitive Testing & Screening
- If is determined that the child needs cognitive testing during the application process, the Office of Advanced Academics and Gifted Services will be reaching out directly to you to set this appointment's date and time. Please make sure you have up-to-date contact information in the application.
Notification of Acceptance
- Monday, February 3, 2025: Notification (accepted or wait-listed) letters will be sent to parents. Notification dates subject to change.
Of note: the majority of the open seats at Aurora Quest occur in Kindergarten and 6th grade.
If you are an out of district family who is accepted to Aurora Quest for the 2025-26 school year, you will need to complete APS registration. Information will be shared with you should your child receive a spot at Aurora Quest.
